Beyond Luxury Rentals — Terms & Conditions

By booking or operating a vehicle from Beyond Luxury Rentals (“BLR,” “we,” “us”), you (“Renter/Driver”) agree to the terms below.

1) Booking, Payment & Security Deposit (Required)

Valid, non-expired driver’s license and matching major credit/debit card required.
Security deposit: US$[–] (authorization/hold at pickup; released after return minus any fees/damages).
Proof of full-coverage auto insurance that extends to rentals is required (or BLR-approved coverage, if offered).
Only the person who books may drive unless BLR approves additional driver(s) in writing before pickup.

2) Cancellations, Early Returns & Refunds

Cancel ≥ 5 days before pickup: 75% refund of rental charges.
Cancel < 5 days (incl. no-shows): Non-refundable.
Early return after pickup: 75% refund of unused rental days (excludes taxes/third-party fees). No refund for partial days.
If BLR cancels for safety/maintenance/fraud/policy violations, unused days will be refunded 100%.

3) Driver Eligibility

Minimum age: 21.
Valid, non-expired driver’s license in the renter’s name is required.
No minimum tenure requirement (no “license held for X years” rule).
Learner’s permits or temporary paper permits are not accepted.
No Unauthorized Drivers: Only the renter and BLR-approved additional driver(s) may operate the vehicle.

4) Vehicle Use Rules (Read Carefully)

Strictly Prohibited: No Smoking or Vaping • No Pets • No Unauthorized Drivers • No Reckless Driving, Racing, Track Use, or Off-Roading • No Alterations or Unauthorized Repairs.
No towing/rideshare/delivery/commercial use without written approval. No illegal/hazardous materials. Obey all traffic laws and speed limits.
Violations may end the rental immediately and incur fees/damages (see §§8–9).

5) Condition, Fuel/Charging & Mileage

Vehicle is delivered clean, fueled/charged, and roadworthy; note pre-existing damage at checkin with photos.
Return same fuel/charge level. Refuel: US$25 convenience fee + actual fuel cost. EV recharge: US$35 + energy cost.
Standard mileage: 200 miles/day. Overage: 201–275 miles: US$0.50/mile; 276+ miles: US$0.75/mile. These numbers are set unless otherwise stated in the contract.

6) Tolls, Tickets & Admin Fees

Renter is responsible for all tolls, tickets, fines, and violations during the rental.
Each item may incur a US$25 administration fee in addition to the toll/fine.

7) Late Returns & Extensions

Grace period: 1 hour.
After grace: US$50–US$100 per hour (vehicle-dependent).
Over 6 hours late: vehicle may be towed at renter’s expense, plus additional fees.
Extensions must be approved before your end time; subject to availability and re-verification.

8) Cleaning, Smoking & Pet Fees

Excessive dirt/sand/spills/odors/stains: US$150–US$400 cleaning fee.
Smoking/Vaping violation: US$350 minimum + odor remediation at cost.
Pet violation: US$200 minimum + cleaning/repairs at cost.

9) Damage, Loss & Keys

Renter is responsible for any damage, loss, or mechanical abuse (including wheels, tires, windshield, interior, and undercarriage).
Reckless/Prohibited use voids protections and makes renter fully liable.
Lost key/fob or lockout: US$250 or actual cost, whichever is higher, plus programming/locksmith.

10) Accidents, Breakdowns & Reporting

Move to safety, call emergency services if needed, and notify BLR immediately at [866-589-5433] / [info@beyondluxuryrental.com].
Collect other party details and a police report when applicable; do not admit fault.
Unauthorized repairs are not permitted; BLR will coordinate approved service or replacement.

11) Telematics & Privacy

Vehicles may include GPS/telematics (location, mileage, speed events, fuel/charge, diagnostics). By renting, you consent to this for safety, recovery, and policy enforcement.

12) Insurance & Liability

Renter warrants valid full-coverage insurance (liability, collision, comprehensive) that extends to rentals; proof required.
If BLR offers optional coverage, separate terms apply. Renter remains responsible for deductibles, uncovered amounts, diminution of value, and loss of use.

13) Termination

BLR may terminate or refuse service for safety, fraud, non-payment, abuse, or policy violations. Vehicle must be returned immediately upon request.

14) Governing Law & Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of [State of Texas] (without conflict rules). Venue: [Harris County, Texas].

15) Entire Agreement

Your reservation/confirmation + these Terms form the entire agreement. If any part is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. BLR may update these Terms at any time; the version in effect at booking applies.
